The solstice passes and something breaks through - we welcome back light and another cycle round begins. We feel called to find our compass and seek our path. We feel called to state intentions and get clear on desires. Sometimes this tug in our belly makes us want to begin - to start over.

But, all that we need and all that we are going to be already is.

What if there is nothing you must start fresh, only strands of your self and your life that will sing you home if you stoke them, bring your attention to them, allow them to amplify?

What parts of you are yearning to liven into expansion?

What aspects of life are you releasing and what aspects want your undivided attention to guide them towards their rightful intensity?

What do you already know that you only need magnify?

In January we will gather together again for a liberated lines tradition. Not one of newness and re-creation, but of amplification, magnification, expansion. We will allow our most inherent truths to guide the way we swell into being. Honoring the pieces that already are. Allowing ourselves to flourish.

This is about claiming your year in a slightly different way. We will seek all the truth that already is and let our own song crescendo with conviction. Come dig into what is. Liberate yourself from needing to be something new. Be what you are. Amplified.

Seven days of daily devotion to your own words and creative spark can be like magic in your hands and heart.  Just the kind of magic you’ve been seeking.  Be more you.  Circle up for a liberated lines FLASH :: amplify.

liberated lines is a daily practice because we know that this is where the magic lies. The truth is you can change your life, your breath, your very being with a daily practice. It doesn't matter how brief, rough, or seemingly small that practice is. To tap into releasing the shades of your truth a few times is lovely but to cultivate a freedom that resounds through your very cells takes a commitment to repetition. That is all.  A mini dance with creative truth that happens every day will touch you. And you deserve to be touched.

These momentary snapshots are all alive within you, like puzzle pieces, like poker chips clinking together in your bag. We invite you to draw your hand and play. To each day jump in with a little something–a little something messy and fresh and rough. A little something beautiful and raw and daring. A little something private and elusive and tucked away. A little something that opens you towards your truth.

If you are not sure your soul is ready to bare itself so publicly, don't worry. We can show you how to create an anonymous or private Instagram account and there is always the sanctuary of our Facebook group. Or simply follow along in your own sacred way.

We will provide prompts, support, guidance, encouragement, and accountability. And of course, we will be there with you, diving in daily, living the momentary, compelling, creative energy of opening. We will be there to hold space for the release of your dynamic truth.

Alisha has a gift for holding sacred space, for deep listening, and for seeing the ordinary in extraordinary ways. If she could be anything and do anything, it would be exactly what she's doing now: Being a wife and a mother of 3 living out her creative journey–but maybe with a view of a vineyard from the kitchen window. A summary of herself in a list of textures would go something like this: hand-scraped wood, shiny brass, natural linen, cotton, velvet, leather & lace. You can find Alisha at her website, AlishaSommer.com, and in her favorite playgrounds: Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

But I'm not a writer or a poet. Can I still join in?

Yes! This course is not about perfection or experience. This is about liberating your voice, (and experimenting with being bold in your expression. It's part soul-work and part play.

What kind of time commitment will I need to make?

What's great about using Instagram is that it is a fast and easy creative platform. A poem can be two words or twenty verses. liberated lines is designed to fit you, your life, your words.

What is Instagram?

From the Instagram website: Instagram is a fun and quirky way to share your life with friends through a series of pictures. Snap a photo with your mobile phone, then choose a filter to transform the image into a memory to keep around forever. We're building Instagram to allow you to experience moments in your friends' lives through pictures as they happen. We imagine a world more connected through photos. (The Instagram app is free for download through the Apple store and Google Play.)

Do I have to have an Instagram account in order to participate?

When we dreamed up this course we envisioned it with Instagram as the primary way in which we would release our words and share this experience. However, it is not necessary. We will also be holding space for you and showing up in the private Facebook group.

How do I create an Instagram account?

You can create an account by visiting the Instagram website: http://www.instagram.com or when you download the app to your mobile device.

How do I make my Instagram account anonymous or private?

When you create your account, one option is to make a profile with a pseudonym. Your pictures and poems would be viewable by anyone who follows your chosen name. The other option would be to simply make your profile private. By making your profile private, only those whom you allow to follow your Instagram feed would be able to see your images and words.
